Spelling sound: long vowel sound ue ew u_e
Genre writing: Narrative (introducing the character and events)
Reading: Introducing iReading (independent tasks while a small group works with the teacher doing guided reading)
Mathematics
Mental strategy: Near Doubles

This week we will look at the 5 rules for problem solving as we start to attack some place value problems
- You must have a guess
- No rubbing out
- You are allowed to change your mind (give yourself a tick)
- You are allowed to copy
- Record your thinking
These are explained in a very clear way by maths guru Tierney Kennedy (who I am doing a math course with) at this link

We are going to continue to be scientists who make PREDICTIONS.
