Apologies for the post rather than pre-week update. School has been a little chaotic this week! Enjoy the extra long weekend with a Student Free Day on Friday (tomorrow)
LUTA (LIGHTING UP THE ARTS)
The Year 3 students have been busy with LUTA practice and learning some complicated songs and choreography to go along with it. We will send some lyrics home next week to get in some extra rehearsals. If the songs are stuck in my head then parents can have the pleasure as well 😉
Please make sure you return the rehearsal permission slip for the dress rehearsal during the day on Thursday 21st June (Week 8). Please read the information that was sent home thoroughly to make sure you understand what is happening eg. tickets, drop off time etc. Please ask if you are unsure about anything.
The Year 2 students are also learning the songs and moves for one song which we hope to organise a parent performance later in the term for to provide them with an audience for their hard work!
SWIMMING
You will hopefully have been given permission forms for Swimming Week which is the week beginning 25th June (week 9). Please return these notes as well. I’m sure you are all experts in the finer details of Swimming week in which we encourage the students to look after their own belongings…
WOOLÂ & TOILET ROLL DONATIONS
During swimming week the class will be trying their hand at some knitting for our maths so we are looking for some wool donations as well as empty toilet rolls. Thanks to those children who have completed their Home Learning task of bringing some in.
HOME LEARNING
Books due in on Tuesday. Please make sure that the Historical research survey has been completed and they bring it back on Tuesday as we will be looking at it this week.
Enjoy the long weekend!
